FOG - ultrasounds system to nebulize the sanitizing liquid
The FOG makes use of an ultrasounds system to nebulize the sanitizing liquid at room temperature, so that the liquid becomes a fine mist of tiny and extremely light particles. The most typical application is to sanitize the air conditioning systems of motor vehicles.
The sanitizing liquids used by Italcom contain components that destroy the bacteria and fungi residing in the inaccessible areas of the air conditioning system, such as the evaporator.
The machine is a professional ultrasonic system and its ergonomic design and the use of the latest technology provides a device that is both efficient and easy to use. Its applications include the disinfection of air-conditioning systems and interiors of cars, trucks and buses. It is used with sanitizing/disinfectant liquids that contain active ingredients that destroy the bacteria and fungi residing in the inaccessible areas of a vehicles interior. This machine is used to nebulize the sanitizing liquid into a fine mist of tiny particles. These are transported in the air and uniformly distributed throughout every surface and area of a vehicle's interior (or any other closed environment) including the air conditioning system. Because the process takes place at ambient temperature, condensation created by a temperature difference between the surface to be cleaned and the nebulized liquid is completely avoided.
These particles disinfects the air conditioning system completely including the ducts and vents.
The growth of bacteria and germs on the evaporator fins is prevented and unpleasant smells are eliminated from the vehicle passenger area or cab.
The Ultrasonic Nebulizer is really professional, all in stainless steel, with a proprietary electronic board, and with a micro-controller, so that its functionality can be changed by software.
Also, it's without external transformer (the transformer is inside) and has an ergonomic output hose.
The shape of this hose allows that only the very small droplets come out from it, whereas the bigger droplets fall down into the nebulization tank.
The stainless steel case and the IEC inlet filter on the main power supply allows to be in compliance with the European Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
The shape of the internal tank allows to maintain an optimal level of the liquid for the nebulization during all the treatment time and ensures to have not leakage of liquid during the manual transport or in case of lateral fall of the machine.
The machine can be easily repaired in every part, also locally by a reseller. The standard features of this Ultrasonic Nebulizer are the following:
An ultrasonic module with an oscillation frequency of 1.7 MHz transforms a sanitizing liquid into very small droplets with dimensions below 5 micron.
A fan blows out the nebulized liquid through an outlet tube.
Usually a maximum treatment time is set internally for a standard dose of 100ml of disinfectant liquid, but it can be also modified by software.
This max treatment time depends on the dose quantity and on the type of sanitizing liquid. The treatment is automatically stopped either at minimum liquid level or at the end of the internally set maximum treatment time.
The treatment length depends on the used disinfectant liquid and also on the ambient temperature: at higher temperatures the treatment length will be shorter, at lower temperatures the treatment length will be longer.
It's also possible, by software, that the operator can choose, for example, a normal treatment time of 15 minutes for a 100ml of disinfectant liquid or a long treatment of 30min for a 200ml of disinfectant liquid.

The machine has also, for safety, a maximum liquid level and an ambient temperature sensor.
The max liquid level can be modified according to your needs (the max liquid quantity that can be nebulized is about 400ml).
